Makana 7 is Beautiful. The house is very well equipped with all kitchen appliances and cutlery. Bedding and towels are of good quality. The staff are friendly and ensure that everything is clean and tidy each day. The view from the deck is incredible! We really enjoyed our stay at Makana 7!

Things to improve:

If one had to advise - i think a TV in the main living area would be the cherry on the top. We were a large group (12) and some seating in the living area was a little limited. The braai grid - could do with a more solid grid. A hand rail on the steps down to the beach would be a good safety measure.

Our stay at Ilha Azul House was absolutely amazing from start to departure. The house was exceptionally neat and clean, making us feel comfortable the moment we arrived. It truly felt like a home away from home. A special mention must go to James and Beatrice, who assisted us every single day. Their dedication and care made such a big difference to our stay. The daily washing service was a huge bonus — something that can often make holidays stressful, especially for women — but in this case, it made our holiday far more relaxing and enjoyable. The atmosphere around the pool was fantastic, and the kids absolutely loved it. The braai area was another highlight, creating the perfect space for everyone to relax, socialize, and just enjoy being together. It really added to the overall experience. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-equipped with air-conditioning, and the clean, fresh bedding made us sleep like babies every night. Everything was perfectly maintained, and we honestly have no complaints at all. The owners were also incredible, regularly checking in via messages to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we were receiving value for the money we paid. That personal touch made the experience even more special. We will definitely be going back. Ilha Azul House is without a doubt the place to stay when visiting Ponta Do Oura. Highly recommended!

Only a recommendation to installe air-conditioning in the living area as it can get quite hot in that specific area.

The house's location is amazing, walking distance to the beach, stalls and restaurants. The rooms all have a fan and aircon and were equipped with the nicest bedding. Some of the rooms are a bit cramped and there is not really any storage space for your clothes. Not enough space to open a suitcase either, but we made do. All the facilities were great for our 12 guests. Micah our housekeeper, wow! Micah is a gem. He was so friendly, helpful and without him our holiday would not have been as nice. He spoiled us with the best service and I don't think Villa De Surf will ever be the same without him. Thanks also to Florinda who came daily to wash dishes and do some tidying up.

Lize from GoBundu suggested great accommodation for our needs. The process from booking to completion was without any problems. GoBundu's online system made admin easy.

Things to improve:

Maybe just for extra comfort, put cushions on the patio chairs and pool loungers.

Naudicals Dune was a very nice house. Loved that it had 2 balconies which gave us an option to sit with two different views and if it was too warm on one side we moved to back balcony. Great views and amenities. Rooms are big and house overall very clean.

Things to improve:

The few things we would have a look at is the fans did not work, the ice machine produced brown ice and when Bless put hth in tank our ice (and showers) tasted like chlorine for few days so we could not use it. Would recommend connecting ice machine on filter tap. Apart from that - lovely house! Would stay there again. Thank you

The unit was very clean and was serviced daily. The unit is comfortable with a nice bed, warm shower which is all we needed. When we reported the broken shower head, it was fixed the same day, which we appreciate. Jao was always there to open the gate with a smile whenever we went out or came back. And we felt safe and comfortable staying there. Thank you we had a lovely time in Ponta do Ouro!

Things to improve:

I would suggest a few improvements in the kitchen. There was only one teaspoon, and no drinking glasses, only coffee mugs. It is very nice have an aircon, the remote does not work, however. And Jao also showed me to switch it on at the plug. So, the aircon temperature, mode or fan cannot be adjusted. Maybe the owner can look into that as well?
