Tucked away in the exclusive Makana Estate, Makana 3A is a welcoming, modern coastal escape with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Sleeps up to 10 guests in four en-suite bedrooms, all with air conditioning: • Bedroom 1 – Queen bed, en-suite • Bedroom 2 – Queen bed, en-suite • Bedroom 3 – Queen bed, en-suite • Bedroom 4 – 2 x bunk beds, en-suite (sleeps 4) There is also a guest toilet just off the main living area for convenience. The open-plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area is bright, airy, and thoughtfully laid out for entertaining and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with: • Gas stove & electric oven • Microwave • Air fryer • Delta coffee machine - uses Delta capsules • Blender & basic appliances • Full cutlery, crockery, glassware • Standing fridge/freezer combo and separate chest deep freezer The living area opens onto a large deck through glass sliding doors, drawing in ocean views and gentle coastal breezes. The TV lounge includes DSTV decoder (Moz bouquet only) and complimentary Starlink Wi-Fi, which you can stream South African DSTV. Step outside and enjoy the spacious wooden deck, which accentuates outdoor living: • Private swimming pool • Shaded gazebo with outdoor seating • Outdoor shower • Built-in braai area It’s the perfect setup for lazy poolside afternoons or evening sundowners with a view. There is a table and chairs that can be used for outside dining, as well as additional chairs for the braai area. Located in the secure, gated Makana Estate, in Ponta Mamoli, Mozambique. There is no compulsory staff tip, however, a gratuity is always welcome. WHAT TO BRING All Food, spices, oils etc, required for self-catering Liquid refreshments, as well as drinking water ADAPTERS Beach towels All items of a personal nature: ie, soaps, lotions, etc Charcoal/wood/firelighters washing powder or liquid - if you want the housekeeper to do laundry (at your own cost) REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT There is a R4000 refundable breakage deposit, this is refunded within 2 weeks of your departure date. EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK OUT Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out no later than 3 pm. No pets are permitted at any of the GoBundu houses. Loud music, parties, and functions are not allowed. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate in which they are staying. Absolutely no noise is allowed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights

Lize was always responsive and very helpful. She also helped us find a transfer to Maputo for an emergency which we were very grateful for.

Things to improve:

There were a few power cuts, perhaps they could consider solar for a some lights and plugs.

Establishment Review:

The House is absolutely Stunningingly perfect!!! the Beds and Bedding are super comfy, the Views are absolutely breathtaking, the various seating areas outside are perfect for a change of scenery, the location the beach and Frederico Bay for snorkelling and beach walks is perfect. The Kitchen is well equipped. We truly had a magical holiday in a very comfortable clean house. Thank you

Consultant Review:

Lize was attentitive and provided all the answers to our questions before departure. only suggestion is to provide details to the house, we had no idea where it was perhaps share directions/pin location. We were held up at the border for 5 hours and only arrived at the house at 12pm, security assisted us to offload and get us settled.

Things to improve:

We dont have any complaints on the house or the amenities, it is not often you go away and have absolutely nothing bad to say about the house, from the Kitchen to the rooms, bathrooms, Deck, outside Area, just fantastic, we did not want to leave! 2 very small suggestions and they are not biggies at all 1 there was no tin opener in the kitchen 2. The cleaning staff were great, however after christmas there quality did drop (nothing major things just moved slower and less was done - but we worked with it) We had to ask them to clean our Bath towels as we were there for 14 days and to use the same bath towel for that long was not great. Security Gentleman (i cant remember his name) was also amazing and always wanting to lend a hand wherever he could. The Pool Gentleman i think his name is Jonas is also such a lovely man, friendly, and helpful, we dropped some items through the deck which he gladly went and grabbed for us We do apologise we broke a couple of glasses, we tried to replace them but could not find anywhere where we could purchase them. The Kitchen is very well equipped, even Tuppaware!!!! Thank you Fridge Size Perfect and the Deep Freeze was a winner! aswell as the airfyer We will certainly be back, please thank the owners for sharing there Beautiful Beach Home with us
