A 2.25% service fee applies to all confirmed bookings. ACCESS & BEACH LOCATION Villa de Surf is situated across the road from Ponta do Ouro’s main swimming beach. The property is not directly beachfront. To reach the beach, guests simply walk across the road, past the restaurant and onto the sand. There are no steps required to access the beach, although there are approximately 10 steps leading up to the house itself. A 4x4 vehicle is not required to reach Villa de Surf. The house has three secure parking spaces. SWIMMING POOL The private swimming pool has no safety features. Use of the swimming pool and associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk. Children must be supervised around the swimming pool at all times. HOUSEKEEPING & BEACH AWNING Mika is the full-time live-in housekeeper and services the house during your stay. A large shade awning is available for guests to use on the beach. Mika can set this up on request at no additional charge. A compulsory staff tip of R120 per day is payable to Mika, including the days of arrival and departure. When more than six guests occupy the house, a second housekeeper is brought in. A compulsory staff tip of R120 per day is also payable to the second housekeeper, including the days of arrival and departure. GROUPS No groups of guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. COFFEE MACHINE The Nespresso coffee machine uses original-size capsules. Woolworths and 4-WKS compatible capsules can also be used. REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT A refundable breakage deposit of R4,000 is payable in full one month prior to arrival. The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 days after departure, subject to the property being left in good condition and no deductions being required. LATE CHECK-OUT Late check-out is available on request only and is subject to the house not having an incoming booking on the day of departure. Where late check-out is approved, a fee of R1,500 will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. HOUSE & ESTATE RULES No pets are permitted at any GoBundu properties. Loud music, parties and functions are not permitted. No noise is permitted between 22:00 and 06:00. Failure to comply with these rules will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being required to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
