Salt & Sun is a relaxed, pet-friendly holiday home situated on the elevated Signal Hill housing estate in Ponta Malongane. This is a special addition to our GoBundu collection – the very first pet-friendly house on our books, making it ideal for families and couples who don’t want to leave their dogs behind. While the house is not directly on the beachfront, it enjoys uninterrupted sea views and is just a 5-minute walk to the beach via a sandy path and wooden walkway that leads straight onto the shoreline. The house comfortably accommodates small families, couples, or a small group. It offers two air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, as well as an additional bathroom. The open-plan living area flows onto a private balcony with a dining table, creating an easy indoor-outdoor living space with beautiful ocean views. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering and includes a coffee machine. Guests must please bring their own Delta coffee capsules. The house also offers free Starlink WiFi, making it easy to stay connected during your stay. Outside, guests can enjoy a lush garden, seating areas, and braai facilities, with sea views visible from various points around the property. Signal Hill Estate offers excellent shared amenities, including Sunrise Voodoo Restaurant, an on-site restaurant serving daily meals. The restaurant features a swimming pool, and guests may request permission from the restaurant owners to make use of it. Right at the estate entrance gate, you will also find Captain Gus Restaurant, which has a swimming pool and a water slide, making it a great spot for children. The estate further offers daily housekeeping, secure on-site parking, and full-day security. Salt & Sun is located approximately 1.5 km from Ponta Malongane beach and 3.3 km from Ponta do Ouro beach, offering a peaceful setting with easy access to both areas. Pet-friendly note: Well-behaved dogs are welcome. All dogs must be kept on a leash at all times, as there are other dogs on the estate.

PET POLICY All pets are to be kept on a leash as there are other dogs on the estate. STAFF AND STAFF TIP There is a compulsory staff tip of R70 per day for the housekeeper. This includes your day of arrival and departure, and must be paid in cash on your departure date directly to the housekeeper. The housekeepers working hours are from 8am to 4pm daily. If you arrive after 4pm the keys will be with the gate security, please get the keys at the gate and you will have access to the house. WHAT TO BRING Food and Drinks Drinking water Charcoal Adapter plugs Beach towels All items of a personal nature: ie, soaps, lotions, etc REFUNDABLE BREAKAGE DEPOSIT There is a R2000 refundable breakage deposit, which is refunded within 2 weeks of your departure date. EARLY And LATE CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT Late check-out is on request only. This is due to incoming bookings on the day of your departure. Should the house be available, we will deduct the extra charge of R1500.00 from your refundable breakage deposit, check out no later than 3 pm. Loud music, parties, and functions are not allowed. All guests must comply with the rules of the estate in which they are staying. Absolutely no noise is allowed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights
