Launching of boats, jet ski?s & rubber-ducks is allowed on our beach or in the river, approximately 5km from the camp. Cold beer, cold drinks, ice & fresh bread is available on the island. Other shopping can be done in either Maracuene or Shoprite and Woolworths in Maputo (? 10km away). We boast with the prettiest and neatest ablutions block on the island- any women?s dream.Fresh fish & prawns is available daily from the local fishermen. Although there is fresh water available, it is advisable to bring enough of your own drinking water.Important: Because the roads on the island consist mostly of gravel and thick sand, you will require a 4-wheel drive vehicle to get to the camp site. Although ordinary caravans (non off-road) will make it to the camp site, it is recommended that they be towed by a 4x4.
