On top of a hill, 3 km from the town of Knysna is Narnia Guest House, commanding views of the famous Knysna Heads, lagoon, river, and Outeniqua mountains. The newly built house is set in beautiful gardens and guests can enjoy walks to three dams, and the use of the saltwater pool. Two self-catering units each sleep four and are very comfortably appointed. The owners’ son is a qualified Swedish Holistic masseur and Reiki master and offers onsite treatments.
The Poolhouse has two bedrooms – a queen with bath and twins with a shower (this room also has a single bed in the loft accessed by a ships ladder – although a safe railing access is steep and not good if you have a fear of heights. Having said this kids love it up there!!) It has a fully equipped kitchen – gas hob, electric oven, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, large fridge, washing machine, laundry clothes horse, table and four chairs – couch and easy chairs, full DSTV, balcony with comfortable seating, picnic table and weber. Indoor fireplace and oil heater. Tea, Coffee and soaps are offered complimentary. The views are superb – Knysna Heads, lagoon, river and mountains. The pool is in front of the balcony with loungers and umbrellas. It is not fenced and guests are responsible for the safety of their children. The unit is set in our beautiful gardens with pathways and benches making it a wonderful spot to stay. Covered parking for three vehicles and plenty of space for a boat.

The Lookout has one bedroom with a queen bed, an easy access loft with a single, and a foldout double in the lounge. The bathroom has a bath and shower. With wraparound balconies and a deck braai (BBQ), the living area has breathtaking views of the Knysna Heads/lagoon, river, and our own dam (fenced) on one side and faces two ponds (not fenced) and the gardens on the other. The kitchen is fully equipped – gas hob and electric oven, kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, fridge, clothes horse, table and four chairs, easy chairs, and seating on the balconies, DSTV package. Indoor fireplace and oil heater. Tea, Coffee, and soaps are offered complimentary. Guests have access to the pool.
