Greyton, Is the precious Jewel of the Overberg. Being one of the most popular little villages along the N2, only two hours from Cape Town and still growing in popularity, it has remained quaint and cosy and ever more beautiful over the years. You will find a host of wonderful restaurants and the famous Saturday village market with horse carriages and pony rides, food stalls, local produce and more... Greyton has become very popular for mountain biking and hiking trails that surround the village. The peace and tranquillity of the village is what draws everyone from far and wide. Heritage B&B a Boutique is one of the oldest buildings in this little town and has been restored into a chic country hideaway. Beautifully re-honed sash windows soak up the views of the mountains from all rooms, comfy sofas in the lounge area for those lazy afternoons, the softest linen and feather pillows in bedrooms overlooking the lush, well manicured garden and swimming pool area. This building may have been built 177 years ago but its restoration has brought it into the 21st century. Expectations and comforts alike, with well-styled bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and folding doors allow comfort for both hot summer days and cold winter nights. Two of our guest rooms have their own air con and the self-catering studio is equipped with an industrial fan and flat screen TV with DSTV. There are three beautifully styled bedrooms and one self-contained studio sleeping two in each, one with king size bed (en-suite), one with a queen size bed (en-suite) and one with twin beds, and the self-catering studio with either twin beds or a king size bed. Greyton experiences hot summers and crisp country winters with snow covered mountains. The B&B is perfectly geared for both. There is a wood burning fireplace in the living room and an open country cottage style fireplace in the kitchen. Choose between a cosy winter kitchen breakfast or breakfast on the large patio in summer, where after you can laze the day away at the gorgeous pool, with some fun funky tiles, and spectacular mountain views. Have drinks from the on site honesty bar whilst soaking in the sun or reading in one of the sun loungers by the pool. The B&B is situated towards the end of the picturesque main road, away from the tourist side of the village. The entrance to the mountain trails is just a stones throw away.
