This historic house is over 170 years old and is one of the original homes of Knysna. Carpe Diem House has been decorated with flair and style. Our intention is to create a unique and comfortable space where our guests will feel at home, as well as being surrounded by beauty and colour. We have many original South African artworks on the walls and strive to offer an eclectic but sympathetic space where our guests will be able to unwind and relax. The house is within walking distance to town, shopping malls, and restaurants. It is central to all the attractions of Knysna and surrounds. The Knysna Waterfront is a leisurely 20-minute walk from the house. The property has mountain views and is 5 miles from Knysna Forest.
