The two additional children’s beds are situated in the lounge. IMPORTANT BEDROOM & LOUNGE ACCESS The lounge and two bedrooms are not internally connected. Guests must step outside onto the verandah to move between these areas. Parents should consider this layout when booking with children who will be sleeping in the lounge. SWIMMING POOL Aloha 15 Cottage does not have a swimming pool. 4X4 ACCESS A 4x4 vehicle is compulsory for access to Aloha Estate. No 2x4 vehicles are permitted. Guests should reduce tyre pressure to approximately 1.2–1.5 bar when travelling on the sandy estate roads. Parking is available for two vehicles. STAFF & CHECK-IN Staff are available daily from 08:00 to 16:00, with a lunch break at 12:00. Guests arriving after 16:00 must collect their keys from estate security. Staff will not be available to assist with offloading or check-in. Additional staff hours can be arranged directly at R50 or 200 MZN per hour per staff member. Staff tips are voluntary and entirely at guests’ discretion. WI-FI Wi-Fi is available through a Vodacom SIM router. Guests must purchase their own data bundles. Staff can assist with loading the data. POWER & WATER The cottage has solar panels, an inverter and backup batteries. During grid power outages, air conditioning and the electric oven will not operate. Guests should conserve electricity to extend the available backup power. Water is supplied from a borehole and can be used for cooking, washing and cleaning. Guests may prefer bottled drinking water. SAFES & PERSONAL BELONGINGS A combination safe is provided in the lounge area, in the cupboard beneath the counter next to the fridge. Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings, including cash, passports, jewellery, electronics and other valuables. Guests should lock valuables in the safe and ensure bedroom doors are locked when unattended. Neither the homeowner nor GoBundu accepts responsibility for the loss, theft or disappearance of guests’ personal belongings, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Guests are encouraged to have appropriate travel insurance. LAUNDRY Laundry is available at R150 or 600 MZN per load. Guests must supply their own washing powder and fabric softener. LINEN & TOWELS Bed linen, hand towels and bath towels are supplied. Guests must bring their own beach towels. An additional fee of R1,500 applies and will be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit. The latest permitted check-out time is 15:00. GROUP BOOKINGS No groups of guests under the age of 25 are permitted without parental or adult supervision. HOUSE & ESTATE RULES No pets, parties, functions or loud music are permitted. Only the gas braai may be used. No open fires are permitted. Guests must comply with Aloha Estate rules. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00. Failure to comply will result in a warning. Repeated non-compliance will result in forfeiture of the full breakage deposit. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being required to vacate the property immediately, without a refund for unused nights. WILDLIFE & BEACH SAFETY Do not feed the monkeys or leave food unattended. Use the designated estate beach walkway to protect the dunes. Be aware of rip currents and changing sea conditions when swimming. Driving on beaches and disturbing turtle nesting sites are prohibited.
